Giants Cain Able To Silence Rangers 9-0
October 29th 2010 13:00
The San Francisco Giants brought out the whipping sticks once again as they dominated the Texas Rangers by a score of 9-0 to take a 2-0 series lead. Matt Cain was outstanding for the Giants pitching 7 2/3 innings and along with the bullpen limited the Rangers to just four hits. The Rangers better figure it out real quick or this could be a very short series.
Nelson Cruz, Josh Hamilton, and Michael Young are a combined 3 for 25 with those kind of numbers you can see why the Texas Rangers are struggling. So far everything in this series has gone the Giants way. The Rangers need to get a quick start in Game 3 or they could find themseleves down 3-0 and in the process of a sweep and they do not want that.
