Cardinals Prove They Were The Best And Now World Series Champions

Now I will be the first one to admit I never really thought the St. Louis Cardinals would be crown World Series Champions this year. They were virtually written off late in the season. They were trailing the Atlanta Braves but caught them. Once they made the playoffs they took out the Philadelphia Phillies and the Milwaukee Brewers.
Once they reached the World Series it seemed everyone was picking the Texas Rangers to win it all. You cannot blame the experts as the Rangers were playing great baseball. They took a 3-2 series leading and left Texas only to find out these are tough Cardinals that were on a mission. After winning 6-2 Friday Night the St. Louis Cardinals are now World Series Champions.
This goes to prove you cannot count anyone out until the last out. The Cardinals battled all season long, and stood together as a team. David Freese was named the World Series MVP and had some crucial hits. Give the Cardinals credit for winning the World Series as they have earned it.
Many people will say the Texas Rangers blew it, and that is possible. The truth is the Cardinals earned it and the Rangers gave it all they can do. Texas at times was one strike or one out away, but never got it. Give all the credit to the St. Louis Cardinals as they worked hard for it
