Who Am I No. 2
September 16th 2008 01:09
Okay last week's answer was current Los Angeles Dodgers manager Joe Torre, who made the all-star game nine times as a player. Oddly, he was 2 for 21 as a hitter in the all-star game, giving him a batting average of just .095. And he never saw the postseason as a player.
Today's question:
I was a first round draft pick of the Texas Rangers, but never saw any action with them. That's somewhat strange considering the Rangers constant need for pitching. I'm not saying I was a great pitcher, but in my 12 years, I had an overall winning record and was the starting pitcher against the Red Sox in Game 7 of a World Series remembered best for a fluke error by Boston's first baseman in Game 6, which forced Game 7.
WHO AM I?

i actually knew it was Torre, but was hoping someone else would answer. The Frank Thomas part made it a little tricky since most automatically would think Frank the Big Hurt Thomas, instead of the older guy back on the Braves.
Both have been excellent questions thus far.
I am going to answer this one now though. lol

Yeah I purposely picked Frank Thomas with no explanation just for a bot of deception. And don't worry, there's plenty more to go. It will keep us occupied during the boring football months!!
